Brandon Lafell (CAR): Going against the lowly Jaguars secondary; Steve Smith will likely see the majority of the double teams and I also believe LaFell has more talent than Legadu Naane the #2 WR.
Dexter McCluster (KC): With Jamaal Charles out for the season and Thomas Jones no spring chicken looks like now might be the time to start testing McCluster. He has averaged over 6 yards per carry in his limited action in weeks 1 and 2.
Daniel Thomas (MIA): Had a 100-yard performance in his first action of the season. Miami goes into Cleveland where running the ball tends to be easier.
Tony Scheffler (DET): TD’s in each of the first 2 weeks. Not a great bet for lots of yards, but Stafford seems to like him in the red zone and on 3rd downs.
David Nelson (BUF): Big start to the 2011 campaign, grab this guy before its too late; Bills are looking like real contenders.
DeSean Jackson (PHI): This is mostly if Vick can’t play, which its looking like he will. Jackson has the potential to bust on certain weeks, especially without Vick.
Mike Wallace (PIT): I imagine Pittsburgh will be pounding the ball all game against the Colts. Big Ben wont see much of a pass rush so he will still have lots of time to find his receivers, but I don’t think he will need them much. Hopefully Wallace can cash in early.
Eli Manning (NYG): Has looked rather rough his first 2 starts, even in the week 2 victory. Now the turnover prone QB heads in to Philadelphia and its revamped defense.
Joe Flacco (BAL): Despite being 0-2 the Rams are still a tough team to play at this point and their defense has been playing well. The Rams have only allowed 174 pass yards a game while playing the Eagles and Giants. I dont expect the desperate for the win Rams to give up much to Flacco.
Adrian Peterson (MIN): This is certainly a stretch, but its easier to throw against the Lions right now than it is too run, and the Lions will likely be stacking the box against APete and forcing McNabb to score the points.
These are my Deep Sleepers and Dud Studs for week 3.
hope it helps, more importantly, hope it doesn’t f*ck you over. -Koopa.
