Last Week’s Start em’s:
Ryan Fitzpatrick (BUF): Not as big of a performance against the Eagles as I had hope for finishing 21/27 for 193 yards with a TD and INT.
Mark Ingram (NO): Didn’t gain a whole lot of yards on the day as Darren Sproles got most of the touches, but Ingram was the RB able to reach the end zone.
Jacoby Jones (HOU): Another no show performance for the underwhelming wideout. It was Kevin Walter who stepped up in the absence of Andre Johnson; Derrick Mason just signed.
AJ Green (CIN): Another good game from AJ Green and his QB Andy Dalton; 5 catches for 90 yards and a TD.
Jared Cook Jr. (TEN): A pretty solid effort from the young TE finishing with 4 catches for 59 yards. Also nice to see his targets stay up.
Last Week’s Sit em’s:
Ben Roethisberger (PIT): Lit up the Titans defence throwing 5 TD’s; terrible sit choice. Seems like some QB’s this year just play better when hurt.
Beanie Wells (ARZ): Ran the ball 20 times for 60 yards and a TD in the loss. Nice to see that even in a 10 point offensive effort that results in a loss Beanie can still find his way to the end zone.
Ryan Grant (GB): Only carried the ball 8 times behinds Starks 12; Rodgers can throw the ball with such efficiency their run game isn’t as needed.
Deion Branch (NE): After 2 very mellow weeks Branch came back last week with a 7 catch, 74-yard effort with a TD.
Nate Burleson (DET): Second banana behind the leagues best wideout Calvin Johnson; might even be the third banana behind rookie Titus Young now.
Dallas Clark (IND): Painter has been an improvement for the Colts at QB, but their is still no trusting him. Studs like Wayne and Clark are now questionable plays each week.
I hope my picks were able to help you, or at least didn’t hurt you. Let me know what you think of my weekly picks and even send me yours, I’ll post them along with mine.
