Week 7 Byes: Patriots, Eagles, Giants, 49’ers, Bengals, Bills

Start em:

Colt McCoy (CLE): Colt has thrown over 100 passes in the last two weeks and hasn’t stayed under 200 yards yet this season. With a matchup against the Seahawks at home there is a good chance McCoy will have a 2-3 TD game.

John Beck (WAS): Grossman did the inevitable, had a terrible game with multiple turnovers. John Beck who had a solid preseason now gets the start and I expect him to play with something to prove.

Daniel Thomas (MIA): Miami goes for its first win of the season against Denver and should provide a good matchup for the Rookie RB. Thomas has looked good when he has played, though he has missed a lot of time with injuries. Signs point to him starting this week against a weak Denver run defence.

Mark Ingram (NO): Another rookie RB to start this week. Ingram doesn’t have whole lot of yards on the season but seems to be able to find the end zone on a regular basis. New Orleans should light up the Colts this week, providing a lot of chances for Ingram to carry the ball.

Greg Little (CLE): I had my eye on Little going into this season and he has been solid player so far. Easily the most talented receiver on the Browns and has a great matchup this week against the Seahawks.

Eric Decker (DEN): with Brandon Lloyd out of the picture things should only go up from here. Decker will have to adjust to Tebow starting however.

Sit em:

Matt Schaub (HOU): Playing a tough Titans defence and still without Andre Johnson has me worried about the totals Schaub will put up. Their are likely other QB’s available with better matchups.

Peyton Hillis (CLE): A lot of talk surrounding this man right now. Likely to see decreased snaps to Hardesty due to hamstring problems. Against a Seahawks run defence coming off a bye, don’t expect much from these two.

Willis McGahee / Knowshon Moreno (DEN): McGahee has had decent value recently with Moreno out with an injury. Moreno returns this week however and it should be back to the time share.

Jackie Battle / Thomas Jones (KC): Battle has become the starter for the Chiefs but will have a hard time producing quality fantasy numbers against a tough Oakland run defence and with Jones stealing carries.

Percy Harvin (MIN): With Rookie Christian Ponder taking over the starting job this week you might want to put Harvin on the bench until we see how Ponder plays for 60 minutes.

  1. Ok you know the Giants are on the bye right? Well I need running back and receiver help this week. I grabbed murray off waivers and have him in my starting line up, I have steven jackson but I have reservations one option is to drop tolbert and get jackie battle, I could roll the dice with torain but my gut says bad idea. I need 2 wr, 2 rb, and a flex rb/wr. I have mike wallace (starter), nate washington, steve breaston. So what would you do in a standard league with 15 yards rushing or receiving equal one point and 6 points for touchdowns.

    • I imagine Torain will get the start again this week and could easily have a great game, Philly did everything they could to stop him and make grossman throw. (and we saw why)
      I might go with
      WR Wallace
      WR Washington
      RB Murray
      RB Jackson
      FLEX Torain

at 15 yards per point and with such mid range players, perhaps go for the guys with the best chance to get goal line carries.
